So get inspired and gear up for the Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 premiere with us on November 10th and let's wrangle up some design inspiration!

Coastal Cowgirl Home Decor in the Heart of the Home

They say the kitchen is the heart of the home, this is doubly true for a strong, independent woman like Beth Dutton, and that's exactly where we will begin the house tour how-to. Whether your style is more cowboy boots than coast or more reef than ranch - these design styles will inspire you to bring the perfect balance of coastal decor and western style.

First up, this real life coastal cowgirl style kitchen is set in idyllic Hilton Head, SC has us inspired! From the wood beam ceilings to the knotty wood cabinets and farmers sink, the space, designed by Kelly Caron Designs the room design exudes cowgirl on the coast. We think Beth would be absolutely in love and even think she's back on the Yellowstone Ranch!

We particularly love the soft grey-blue hue that highlights some of the details in the space and fits so perfectly with Saltsy's new Wishing for Waves collection. The Southwest Cowgirl design, is particularly inspired by Beth - it has grit with a subtle touch of luxe and is the perfect complement to this space kitchen.

From the keeping your coffee warm with the latte mug to making clean up a breeze with the Saltwater Sage hand towel - this collection has you covered! Try pairing it with accents that bring in that beautiful blue hue - llike this seaside artwork.

All of the home decor from Saltsy bring just the right amount of coastal and western to the mix for a truly unique aesthetic so you can express your personal style with ease. If you love the look and want that perfect grey-blue hue - we suggest giving Benjamin Moore's Harbor Haze a try - it's the perfect blend of teal and grey that will have you dreaming of moody coastal skies.

The Rustic Side of the Coastal Cowgirl Aesthetic

If you're a bit more ranch than reef, designing your kitchen with a base of western design and adding in layers of coastal style might be the right approach for you. Think of using natural materials like rattan, weathered or reclaimed woods, and jute - all which play nicely with the coastal aesthetic, but are firmly grounded in that western vibe.

We love the look of this kitchen which is beautifully neutral color palette. The warm whites brighten the darker reclaimed wood tones that reign in Beth and Rip's cabin retreat. Subtle details like the copper trim on the range hood accentuate that contrast. We particularly love the combination of wood beams and the white shiplap inset on the ceiling - it's the perfect balance.

Try adding a runner style rug to add a little softness and warmth to the space too. The Rustic Copper Currents collection offers the perfect set of accessories to amplify and emphasize the aesthetic.

Airy, wicker look bar stools add the perfect amount of texture to the island and give the space a subtly boho touch that we can't get enough of. Want to steal the look? Any cowboy or cowgirl can find comfort in the Landis Woven Back Counter Stool from Target and the Bailey Woven Stools from Ballard Designs for a couple great options.

This next kitchen brings all our coastal blue cabinet dreams to life! We love how the dusty-toned color brings back those ranch sunsets and is applied to a more traditional cabinet door style to make it feel like it's worn and weathered.

The hardware is simple and understated and the wood tones and creamy whites complement one another on another level. Large pendant lights and the linen curtains remind of us Beth's sense of style - chic yet soft and intentional. The roman shade style window treatment is functional and softens the space while maintaining those ocean views.

If you want to capture this same feature, we have a few chic coastal options that will bring in just the right amount of coastal cowgirl vibe to your space.

Putting the Coast into the Coastal Cowgirl Design Style

Now, if you're a bit more surfside and the ocean is what moves your soul, you may want to start with a coastal interior design look in your home and then layer in those traditional western interior accents and cowgirl accessories. We've got everything you need to know to integrate this aesthetic in your own home.

When it comes to the perfect accents, Saltsy's Wishing for Waves collection features the perfect accents for this occasion in the Abstract Shells pattern. Just picture this apron hanging up on the kitchen door and the coordinating glass cutting board ready on the counter for meal time. Amp it up with details like Saltsys' Longhorn decorative dinnerware set or this custom cowhide knife block both bring a little piece of the wild west to your coastal kitchen.

This next kitchen is similar to the first in it's neutral color palette, but here, with the lighter wood tones, it exudes a uniquely minimalist and maximalist look all at the same time. The ceiling detail is a wood shiplap, but with a more rustic wood finish that looks clean. Shaker cabinet doors with simple hardware add an effortless coastal farmhouse vibe.

If this is the look you love - head on over to see the Sandy Spurs collection for some decorative accents to round out your space To capture this look, try some glassy pendants paired with wood furniture and decor. The Axel Leather Stool brings both wood and a leather to add a touch of softness. The Nyla Pendant is a great option for lighting - the shape is unique and the black suspension kit is the perfect accent to black hardware on the cabinets.

Our last featured kitchen brings that beautiful blue (featured in the Frosted Dunes collection) that keeps us dreaming of the sea. Rattan or Jute textured window shades are a textural touch and the clean white counters with the warm beige veining add a sense of depth to the space. The mercury glass pendants and rustic wood beams are subtle cowgirl accents that make all the difference.

If you're interested in bringing the two-tone kitchen trend to your home, this is a truly unique way to do it. The island and perimeter base cabinets are the feature blue while the range hood and upper cabinets along the wall are white to blend in to the backdrop of tile, making the space feel more spacious.

Pottery Barn's Sutton Roman Shades are the perfect option to bring that texture to any space in your home, particularly the kitchen. If you're smitten with this blue, but aren't ready to dive into custom painted cabinetry quite yet - Country Kitchens has a Provincial Blue Cabinet that might be just what you need.

The best part is you can carry that same blue tone throughout your home to emphasize that coastal lifestyle. Add in some Antique Light Fixtures and you've got yourself a coastal cowgirl look you'll love! Bonus tip: Check out Saltsys' Frosted Dunes collection for coordinating accessories!
